Allison Anderson, FAIA Design Lecture

We're sorry, but all tickets sales have ended because the event is expired.

There are no upcoming dates for this event.

Allison Anderson, FAIA focuses on projects with a strong community design component and is dedicated to creating sustainable places through the preservation and enhancement of existing structures, communities, and habitats. Repairing the connection between nature and the built environment demands a practice that explores the broadest definition of sustainability. Her practice, unabridged Architecture, is dedicated to civic and sustainable design within fragile coastal environments.

Join Women in Architecture for a design discussion that will explore how she uses her experience with previous projects to incorporate the use of sustainable design, applied knowledge of impact-resistant and blast-resistant construction, familiarity with a variety of sites including coastal hazard conditions, and a long-standing tradition of design excellence. She also will speak about how her research informs design and how she uses that research into adaptation to climate hazards.

Lunch will be provided from Gracious Bakery. Seating is limited. RSVP is required.
